A few of the performances were good (missy, Lizzo, Normani, big Sean), some were ok. What bothered me the most about MTV is there constant turning the camera away from the artist and focusing on the crowd. S*** is real annoying. We end of missing some of their performance.
The cameraman did it purpose to take focus away from obvious lip syncing. All the performers were lip syncing. Awards are pre recorded live vocals especially MTV as they do it during sound check. They are pre recorded to avoid technical issues. If you notice no one had a close up shot.
